We live just adjacent to a reservoir nicknamed Electric Lake. It exists to help contain some of the water from the Hoosic River that is dammed in order to generate electricity for the area. Our house sits squarely on the southern bank, and there is a trail and train tracks that wind around the whole thing. It makes for a lovely walk in the woods. On our most recent trek, we spotted fiddlehead fern and a whole hillside dotted with white trillium. This is our walk through the woods, mid-spring.
